Vision & Logic — faith that engages culture

The River of God

Bridge the gap between Sunday faith and Monday reality — a refreshing, culturally relevant guide to seeing the world through God's eyes.

Meet the author

Kim Cimio was born and raised in Seoul, where he studied Aesthetics and Western Classics. An active missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), he has served for decades across France, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, and Sweden — passionate about raising up young leaders and helping believers integrate faith with intellect and culture.

Faith that engages culture — not one that retreats from it

Do you feel a disconnect between your spiritual life and the culture around you? Do you struggle to explain how the Bible relates to modern films, digital technology, or the complexities of your career?

In The River of God, Kim Cimio challenges the idea that faith requires withdrawing from the world. Instead, he presents a vision where the “river of God” flows into every aspect of human existence — from the arts and sciences to politics and gender.

Using twelve diverse topics — from the philosophy behind The Matrix, to the implications of quantum physics, to the true meaning of happiness — the book builds a robust Christian worldview and a roadmap for engaging culture confidently and authentically.
